WANDERLUST cuerpos en tránsito is a 97min documentary feature film directed and produced by Anne von Petersdorff and María Pérez Escala
The film documents the journey of two women by land and sea, from Egypt to Germany and exploring the female body in transit across 13 borders and 14 countries.
The film forms part of Anne von Petersdorff’s hybrid dissertation (UNEXPECTED JOURNEYS: AT THE CROSSROADS OF COLLABORATIVE FILMMAKING AND FEMINIST SCHOLARSHIP), which combines collaborative filmmaking and feminist scholarship grounded in German studies. The written dissertation addresses fundamental issues in feminist filmmaking — body, voice, and collaboration — and is in part conceived as a complement to WANDERLUST.
